PLATFORM  /  AUDIT & PROVENANCE/ the golden thread

Every action, accounted for.

Every step a person, agent or system takes in Hendl is recorded as it happens — with its sources, its reasoning and its approver. Not a log you assemble for the regulator; a golden thread the work leaves behind by itself.

ONE DECISION, FULLY EVIDENCED

The trail on the left. The proof on the right.

Follow a reserve change from recommendation to write-back: who did what, in what order — and for any entry, the exact sources and reasoning behind it.

Every entry unfolds like this — sources, versions and approver, one click away.

What the thread carries.

Captured as it happens, never reconstructed.
Every action

Human, agent and system — each step recorded as it happens, not reconstructed later.

Decisions & rationale

Not just what was decided — the reasoning, the alternatives and the policy applied.

§
Sources & citations

Every conclusion linked to the documents, clauses and data behind it.

Approvals

Who approved, when, what they saw at the time, and the note they left.

Versions

The workflow, playbook and model version that produced each output.

Access

Who viewed and exported what — the record watches its readers too.

Communications

Every message in and out, tied to the case and the step that sent it.

Exports

Every bundle, report and disclosure produced — with its exact contents.

Built for the day someone asks.

A regulator, a court, an internal review — whoever asks, the answer is minutes away and provably complete.

Regulator-ready exports

Produce the full evidenced history of any case, or any decision class, in minutes.

Immutable record

Append-only storage — the trail cannot be edited, by anyone, including us.

As-at reconstruction

Replay the case as it stood at any moment — what was known, by whom, when.

Retention policies

Keep what your obligations require and delete what they don’t, provably.

Questions teams ask about the record.

Is agent work auditable to the same standard as human work?

To a higher one. Every agent step logs its inputs, sources, reasoning and the version that ran — detail no human file note ever captures.

Can the trail be edited?

No. The record is append-only. Corrections are new entries that reference what they correct — nothing is overwritten or removed.

What does a regulator actually get?

An export of the complete case history — actions, decisions, sources, approvals and communications — in a structured, reviewable format.

Can we see what the team knew at the time?

Yes. As-at reconstruction replays the case at any past moment: the documents on file, the signals raised and the decisions taken so far.

Does this slow the work down?

No — it removes work. The trail is a by-product of doing the work in Hendl; no one writes up file notes after the fact.

How long is the record kept?

As long as your retention policy requires — configurable by case type and jurisdiction, with provable deletion at the end.

Automation you can defend. To anyone who asks.
